Niagara Falls Turning Off Temporarily

Within the next 2-3 years, the New York States Park Department hopes to turn Niagara Falls off temporarily.  This would mean the water in would be slowed to a trickle in order to repair 115 year old bridges in the nearby area.  The water would be rerouted from the American side in order to repair the bridges.

    Wow, I didn’t even know they could be turned off. That’s pretty interesting and I would like to see them turned off as well.
